It’s amazing the things we parents do for our kids. We would do anything to make them happy. Even if that means we sacrafice or better yet even bend our own rules.

Just a few weeks ago my son has become addicted to the card game Yu-Gi-Oh. He wants to spend all his money on buying cards that he likes or as he puts it ” I NEED that card”. Or better yet, ”That’s my favorite card” even though it’s the first time either one of us has seen it. He just wants what looks cool or what he has seen on the TV or movies. I can understand him. I too was like that. Who am I trying to fool. I’m still like that!!!

So I started looking online to find the cards he needs. I went to different sites that are known to sell Yu-Gi-Oh cards. But of course the cards he wanted, I mean needed, were a bit pricey, $30.00 - $70.00 a piece and that didn’t even include the shipping cost.  So I said let me take a look on eBay. It’s been a while since I bought something on eBay so I was a bit causes. But low and behold the cards I were looking for were much cheaper than any other place I looked online. Some were as low as $1.00 for 3 copies. The only issue I had was I was not guaranteed to get it at that price since they were auctions.

I placed my highest bid on several auctions, from the same seller too. That way I can save on the shipping cost. I was amazed that I won most of the auctions I placed bids on. I deffinetly feel that eBay is still the place to find IT and hope to still find IT when I need IT!
